This Batik Boutique favourite and best-selling batik maxi dress is handmade by skilled Malaysian artisans using a wax-resist technique of fabric dyeing called batik Malaysia. It is a sleeveless batik dress features a V-shaped neckline with pleats at the chest, sewn as A line at the skirt, and includes a knee-high side slit. Complete with a narrow tie belt, it offers versatile styling options at the front, back, or side of the dress.

The maxi dress in the batik print, Blooming Lace, draws inspiration from the graceful Ylang Ylang flower, framed by a delicate lattice that highlights its bold beauty. Blooming Lace tells a story of resilience and grace.

Like lace woven with petals, this design celebrates contrast and harmony, the strength of its geometric lines supporting the natural elegance of blooming florals. Each piece is hand-waxed and hand-painted in three layers by 14 skilled batik artisans in Malaysia, showcasing exquisite craftsmanship and authenticity.
